What it is

Kawempe Muslim Secondary School's Class of 2023 (C23) is a group of alumni running small businesses and personal ventures with little or no web presence. Each week, one verified member of the class is selected to receive a free one-page starter site: up to six sections, mobile responsive, with twelve months of hosting included.

Eligibility is limited to verified Class of '23 members able to deliver content quickly, since the entire build happens on a seven-day clock.

The seven-day build

Day 1 / 7

Confirm candidate details and lock project scope.

Day 2 / 7

Gather written content, images and business assets.

Day 3 / 7

Present design direction for approval.

Day 4 / 7

Build the core site.

Day 5 / 7

Finalize the build and optimize across device sizes.

Day 6 / 7

Client review, requested changes, quality assurance.

Day 7 / 7

Publish the site and start promotional outreach.

Deployment

The campaign hub and every participant site are deployed independently, each on its own subdomain of farhansegujja.com, proxied through Cloudflare.

Limitations and next steps

The pilot ran for a fixed four-week cohort. Each site is single-page by design, scoped for a seven-day build rather than an ongoing multi-page property, and content depends on how quickly each participant could supply assets.
